First and foremost
25 years ago the Georgia Ports Authority welcomed IAP as its first auto processor at the Port of Brunswick. 567 Yugos were driven off the Hual Torinita at Colonel’s Island Terminal onto IAP’s then 50-acre facility (pictured above), marking the first of over 3,500,000 vehicles processed to date by IAP. Currently the company is the foremost independent processor in the southeastern United States, with a quarter-century of experience in providing quality service to the automotive industry.
Room to grow
IAP currently owns or controls 255 acres (pictured above) of paved, secure, lighted storage space on Colonel’s Island Terminal. The recently acquired 70 acres with a 58,000 square foot processing facility exemplifies IAP’s commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Keeping pace with the growth of our customers to meet their foreseeable and unforeseeable storage requirements is of paramount importance to IAP.
Looking ahead
With 25 years experience, IAP has enjoyed boom times and uncertain times which characterize the automotive industry. This prior experience in managing industry change allowed IAP to navigate the past three years with confidence, leading to unprecedented growth for the company. IAP has shown time and again its ability to meet challenges with solutions and with a sense of urgency for their customers. 2011 is shaping up to be the largest year ever in IAP’s 25 years of serving the automotive industry.
